Ninebrooks Software
Privacy Policy
Plain-language draft, last updated 25 October 2026. Under legal review; wording may change. Questions go to hello@ninebrookslabs.com.
This policy covers this website, ninebrookslabs.com, and Pagemoor, the app at pagemoor.ninebrookslabs.com. Both are run by Ninebrooks Software, trading as Ninebrooks Labs. If anything here is unclear, email hello@ninebrookslabs.com and a person will answer.
The short version
- This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or trackers.
- Pagemoor reads your screenshots and recordings on your device. Only text leaves it.
- Your notes are written by Anthropic's Claude from that text, never from your images.
- Your account and notes are stored on Supabase in the United States.
- We do not sell data, show ads, or track you across other apps or sites.
- Deleting your account removes everything, at once.
This website
ninebrookslabs.com is a static site served by Cloudflare. It sets no cookies, loads no third-party scripts, fonts or images, and keeps no record of who visits. Cloudflare, as our hosting provider, sees the technical details of each request (such as your IP address and browser type) and keeps them in its own logs for security, under its own privacy policy. If you email us, we keep the email for as long as we need it to help you.
Pagemoor: what we collect and why
-
Your email address and sign-in codes
Why: To create your account and let you sign in. Codes are sent by email.
Where: Supabase (US); emails sent through Resend
-
What you save: links, the text read from your slides, captions you share, your own notes, titles, the platform and the creator handle as shown in the post
Why: To write your note, file it on a shelf, search it and sync it between your devices.
Where: Supabase (US)
-
Screenshots, recordings and slide thumbnails
Why: Read on your device to extract the text. They stay on the device that read them and are never uploaded.
Where: Your device only
-
The text of your slides and captions, while a note is written
Why: Sent to Anthropic's API so Claude can write the note. Anthropic processes it under its commercial API terms, which do not use it to train models.
Where: Anthropic (US), only while the note is written
-
The link you save, when it is from a supported platform
Why: Our server asks that platform's official public preview endpoint (oEmbed) for the post's public preview. The platform sees a request from our server, not from you.
Where: Our server; the platform
-
Usage counts and processing costs
Why: To apply plan limits (such as notes per month) and to run the service.
Where: Supabase (US)
-
Circles: memberships, the notes and comments you share, reports and blocks
Why: To run private Circles and keep them safe, when that feature is on.
Where: Supabase (US)
-
Technical logs (request time, IP address, errors)
Why: Security and debugging.
Where: Our API server and Cloudflare, up to 30 days
What Pagemoor does not do
- It never logs into, renders or fetches pages from any social platform.
- It never uploads your screenshots or recordings.
- It contains no advertising or analytics SDKs and does not track you across apps or sites.
- It does not sell or share your data for marketing, and it does not use it to train models.
- It does not re-host other people's slides. Shared notes carry a summary, your note and a link back to the creator.
Who processes data for us
We use a small number of providers, each only for the purpose above: Supabase (database, sign-in and storage, United States), Anthropic (writing notes from text, United States), Resend (sending sign-in and account emails), Cloudflare (hosting, DNS and network security), and the hosting provider of our API server. Each is bound by its own terms and privacy policy and processes data on our instructions. We will update this page before any new provider handles personal data.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, everything in it is removed at once. Encrypted database backups may hold a copy for up to 30 days before they roll over, and are never used to restore a deleted account. Technical logs are kept for up to 30 days. Where the law requires us to keep a record (for example of a payment), we keep only that record, only for as long as required.
Your choices and rights
- Export. Every note can be exported as Markdown from the app at any time.
- Delete. Settings, then Delete account, or email us. See the account deletion page.
- Access and correction. Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you and fix anything that is wrong.
- Objection and restriction. If you are in the EU, the UK or another place that gives you these rights, you have them here too, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
- California. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, and we do not discriminate against anyone who exercises their rights.
We provide Pagemoor on the basis of our contract with you (the Terms of Use) and, for security logs, our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe. We ask for consent before doing anything this policy does not cover.
Children
Pagemoor is for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you think a child has an account, email us and we will delete it.
Security
Data travels over TLS. Database access is restricted row by row to the account that owns the data. Secrets are not stored in code. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Changes
When this policy changes in a way that matters, we will note the new date at the top and, for changes to how Pagemoor handles your data, tell you in the app before they take effect.
