Common questions
- What does Pagemoor see when I share a post?
- Only what you share: the link, your screenshots or your screen recording, and anything you type. Images are read on your phone and never uploaded. When you are signed in, the text read from the slides is sent to our server so the note can be written and synced.
- Why does my note say it is waiting to be written?
- Notes are written when you are signed in. Signed out, Pagemoor still reads the slides on your phone and keeps the text; sign in from Settings and the waiting notes are written.
- The sign-in code did not arrive.
- Codes come from hello@ninebrookslabs.com and can take a minute. Check spam and promotions folders, then request a new code. If nothing arrives after ten minutes, email us from the address you are trying to sign in with.
- A note is thin, wrong or missing slides.
- Open the note and choose to add the slides again or have the note written again. Screenshots read best as full-screen captures; for a recording, pause briefly on each slide. If a number or link you saw is missing, that is on purpose: anything not read from the slides is left out rather than guessed.
- How do I get my notes out?
- Open any note and choose Export: copy as Markdown, save as a file, or send it to your notes app through the share sheet. Everything is plain text with a link back to the original post.
- How do I delete my account?
- In the app: Settings, then Delete account, then type delete to confirm. Or email us from your sign-in address. Both remove everything; details are on the account deletion page.
- Can Pagemoor fetch the slides from a link by itself?
- No, and it never will. Pagemoor does not log into or scrape any platform. Share what you can see; the app reads it on your phone and credits the creator with a link back.
Something else? Say what you expected, what happened instead, and which phone and browser you use. A screenshot helps, but never send one that shows other people's private information.
