Ninebrooks Software
Terms of Use
Plain-language draft, last updated 25 October 2026. Under legal review; wording may change. Questions go to hello@ninebrookslabs.com.
These terms are an agreement between you and Ninebrooks Software, trading as Ninebrooks Labs ("we", "us"). They cover this website and Pagemoor, the app at pagemoor.ninebrookslabs.com and in the app stores (together, "the service"). By using the service you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use it.
1. Who can use Pagemoor
You must be at least 13 years old. If you use Pagemoor for a company, you confirm you can agree to these terms for it.
2. Your account
You sign in with a code sent to your email address. Keep that mailbox secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. You may delete your account at any time in Settings or by email; see Delete your account.
3. What you may do, and may not
Pagemoor is for keeping notes on things you have seen and have the right to view. You may save links, your own screenshots and recordings, and your own notes. You may not:
- use the service to scrape, crawl, mirror or bulk-collect any platform or website, or to get around another service's terms;
- upload content you do not have the right to use, or re-publish other people's slides, photos, videos or paid content through Circles or anywhere else;
- use automated tools to access the service except through features we provide;
- interfere with the service, probe its security, or use it to send spam or malware;
- harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, or post content that breaks the Community Guidelines shown in the app;
- use the service for anything illegal.
Pagemoor links back to the creator of every post you save. We ask you to respect that credit when you share a note.
4. Your content
What you save and write is yours. You give us only the permission we need to provide the service: to store your content, read the text from your slides on your device, send that text to our note-writing provider, sync your library between your devices, and show a shared note to the members of a Circle you chose. We do not claim ownership, we do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train models. When you delete content or your account, that permission ends.
You are responsible for what you save and share. If someone tells us content in a Circle infringes their rights or breaks these terms, we may remove it and, for serious or repeated cases, close the account.
5. Notes are written by software
Notes are generated from the text read on your device. They can be incomplete or wrong, and Pagemoor deliberately leaves out numbers and links it did not see in the slides. Check the original before you rely on a note. Star counts, prices and similar figures are shown "as in the post", not as current facts.
6. Free and paid plans
Pagemoor has a free plan with limits (such as a number of notes per month) and may offer a paid plan with higher limits. Prices, limits and renewal terms are shown before you buy, and purchases made through an app store follow that store's rules for billing, refunds and cancellation. We may change plan limits with notice in the app.
7. Copyright complaints
If you believe content in Pagemoor infringes your copyright, email hello@ninebrookslabs.com with the work, where it appears, your contact details and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised. We remove infringing content and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service up, but it may be unavailable at times, and we may change, limit or end features. If we end the service or your account for reasons other than a breach of these terms, we will give you a reasonable chance to export your notes.
9. What we promise, and what we do not
We provide the service with care, but "as is": we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or 50 US dollars if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of where you live, or liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending these terms
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines, and will say why unless the law prevents it. Sections 4, 5, 9 and 11 survive.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the place where Ninebrooks Software is registered, and disputes are heard in its courts, except where consumer law gives you the right to use the courts of your home country.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Changes that matter are announced in the app before they take effect, with the new date shown at the top of this page. Using the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
